I grew up on a farm in the small town of Grant Park, just south of Beecher. I learned carpentry and cabinet making from my grandfather until he passed and then decided to attend and graduate from Lincoln Technical Institute with an Associate Degree in Applied Science. I decided to work in the automotive field as an Auto Parts Specialist at a Chrysler dealership and have been there ever since.
I was married in 1991 and have two beautiful kids, Tyler and Paige. When my daughter was born, I started seeking The Lord. I wasn’t sure what I was looking for but God found me where I was and started a great work in me. It wasn’t long after that that we found Living Creek Christian Church (formerly Deer Creek Church) and it has been my home ever since, for the past 22 years. I divorced in 2017 and although it was extremely difficult, God carried me through it.
I have grown in many ways because of my experiences and I think I have grown the most by studying God’s word and by leading two Bible study groups. One group I co-lead with Pastor Randy. I also serve in Kidz Creek as a Sunday school teacher. I love all of it! I have served in the past as a Deacon, and have taught classes in the Old church building.
Thank you so much for trusting me to serve you as an Elder. It is a privilege and an honor. I will do my best to act in the best interests of Living Creek Church. Thank you for this opportunity.
