OCTOBER 2026 ELDER UPDATE:
We are thrilled to announce that our first Sunday at 227 Monee Road in Park Forest will be on Sunday, October 25!
New Service Time: 10 a.m.
As we begin this next season of ministry, our desire as Elders is that we worship as one church. The Lord has blessed us with ample space so our prayer is that by gathering as one church each Sunday at 10 a.m., we will strengthen our fellowship, be energized to reach surrounding communities, and ensure those serving on Sundays are not overly burdened.
Church Office Closed October 19 – 23
In order for the staff and Sunday service team to be ready for the move and the first service, the office will be closed October 19 – 23.
THANK YOU!
Sunday, October 25, marks a major milestone in the life of Living Creek Christian Church. The Lord has been incredibly faithful to us for more than 60 years and His kindness has especially been shown through His people.
At the risk of leaving anyone out, we simply want to say “thank you” to all who have helped during this process! This has been a family-wide project, with skills and talent needed in every area—from design to construction, painting, cleaning, landscaping, and so much more. We have clearly seen the truth of God’s Word in being “one body, with many parts” (1 Corinthians 12:12–27).
We are grateful to God for everyone who has generously given of their time, talent, and treasure, as well as those who have prayed so that we can successfully step into this next season of ministry. With a continued focus on solid, biblical stewardship, we are already discussing and evaluating future projects, ensuring that we retain a healthy emergency fund.
Our Mission Continues!
As exciting as this milestone is, let’s remember that this move is about more than just a building. With our mission of “Helping People Follow Jesus” we firmly believe that God has called us to reach at least 1% of the 300,000 people who live within 10 miles of where we worship in south/central Will County.
Our new building provides an incredible opportunity to welcome others, build relationships, serve the surrounding communities, and share the hope found in Jesus Christ! We look forward to what God has in store for Living Creek.
