Have you ever felt like you were carrying your burdens alone? God did not intend that for you. He wants to help lighten the load and at the same time use you to encourage others. All of us were made to live in a community.
Groups of Christians who regularly meet together learn how to “Rejoice with those who rejoice; mourn with those who mourn” (Romans 12:15). Life accomplishments, birthdays, and milestones are celebrated with others through a group. There are also those times in life when we need someone to pick up our spirits and journey through hard times with us. A group shares life’s griefs and joys alongside you.
A Small Group is a place where ten to twelve people connect weekly or bi-monthly on their life journey. Through reading the Bible, praying and discussing the life application of God’s Word, groups grow spiritually, emotionally and relationally.
There are several activities groups can do together; sharing meals, studying the Bible, praying for each other, serving in ministries, and inviting friends to join their group are a few examples. You will find encouragement and a richness to life as you continue your faith journey together with others.
